KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
Optimisation and Machine Learning:
Implementation, development and use of gradient based optimisation, reduced order modelling, statistical inference and stochastic global optimisation. Experience in multiple aspects of Machine Learning, Data Analysis and nonlinear dimensional reduction algorithms.
Numerical Methods :
Deriving and solving variational formulations to sets of partial differential equations. Development of numerical material models, deformation mechanisms and finite element formulations. Use of various commercial and open-source software packages for computational structural and fluid mechanics simulations. Image filtering and registration as well as mesh based non-rigid registration.
Programming
Experienced in Python, FORTRAN and MATLAB. Limited, project specific experience in R, C++ and PHP.
